The National SHRM foundation will award 21 scholarships at $2,500 each to SHRM student members this year. In 2016, SHRM SDSU member, Travis Doderlein, received the SHRM Foundation Lisa Burke Undergraduate Award. Current SHRM members are encouraged to apply these scholarships!
Eligibility
Current SHRM member (professional or student)
Enrolled in a degree-seeking undergraduate program
University is an accredited institution of higher learning
Degree program is HR-related (e.g., business, psychology, HR organization development, etc.)
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Selection Criteria
35% - Commitment to/passion for the HR profession
25% - Volunteer, leadership and service activities (SHRM experience preferred, but not required)
20% - Academic achievement
20% - Financial need
